Marcel Daemgen

has been active as a free-lance composer, producer and live-musician since 1989 in applied electronic-, noise- and pop-music. He studied music - pedagogics at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, and Audio Engineer at the School of Audio Engineering (SAE) - in Frankfurt am Main.
Since the early 90s he appeared with numerous projects in collaboration with, amongst others, Alfred 23 Harth, the "Electronic Music Theater" (currently with Augst/Birke/Ehinger/Fehér/Kretzschmar), the Technoise Band "Freundschaft", the dancer Christine Bürkle (member of the William Forsythe Frankfurt-Ballet), Keiji Heino, Schorsch Kamerun, Raymond Pettibon and the group "Arbeit"
at the "Alte Oper", the "TAT - Bockenheimer Depot" and the "Artists House Mousonturm" all in Frankfurt am Main/Germany, at "Fylkingen" - centre for new music in Stockholm/Sweden, at the legendary "Knitting Factory" in New York City, at the "Künstlerhaus-Wien" ("Artists' House-Vienna") and within the festival for contemporary music "Wien Modern" in Vienna and within the "Ars Electronica" in Linz/Austria. He played also at the "Akut Festival" in Mainz/Germany, at the "Zdarzenia Festival" in Tczew/ Poland, at the Jazz Festival, "San Juan Evangelista" in Madrid/Spain, and at the festival "Politik im freien Theater", Sophiensaele, Berlin ...
