In this third collaboration of Oliver Augst and Raymond Pettibon the text-body "The
Whole World Is Watching: Weatherman '69" is used as a musical-libretto
and performed as a kind of trash musical, by an "all star band" exclusively
put together for this occasion.
HE HAS AN ELECTRIC GUITAR, AND THAT´S AT LEAST AS BAD AS A GUN
A wry look back at a radical left group of the 1960s,
told through the words of the protagonists and gently subverted through an
inventive use of music. A masterclass of studio production techniques. (Jury
statement, Prix Italia 2008)
"Rotary experiment of revolution" (taz); "History is called
off. Melancholy of terror." (Der Tagesspiegel)
